Dearest reader,
I have finally read the firts Anne book "Anne of Green Gables" by L. M. Montgomery after a four-year-obsession with the series "Anne With an E" on Netflix. Naturally, I have ever so many thoughts about the book which I will share in detail later but first let's have a look, a read, a laugh and a cry to some of Anne's best moments in nine heart warming, srcumptious and utterly fabulous quotes.
"Because when you are imagining you might as well imagine something worthwhile."

"Next to trying and winning, the best thing is trying and failing."
– Anne in "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery
"It's delightful when your imaginations come true, isn't it?"
– Anne in "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery
"Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive – it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?"

"Anne felt that life was really not worth living without puffed sleeves."
– Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
"Oh, Marilla, looking forward to things is half the pleasure of them."

– Anne in "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery
"Well I don't want to be anyone but myself, even if I go uncomforted by diamonds all my life."
