As I am writing this, I'm looking out to the backyard of my apartment, where the weather is having one of its finer moments: The sun is painting golden brown shadows and the sky is blue with a few clouds flowting across, while the wind anxiously blows cold fresh air everywhere as if, it's cleaning the streets from the rubbish and dirt collected there during the long winter. Yet, it is only March and where I live the first signs of spring aren't even visible in the still icy ground, but you can certainly sense a difference in the atmosphere of nature as well as in me.
Perhaps, it is due to the growing hours of light that I suddenly feel the need to buy yellow tulips and carry out a thorough spring clean in my small flat. Or maybe, this newly found inspiration is a result of me walking more in the nature as a part of my mission to use less public transport in order to avoid corona virus. I even tryed to add more air to the tires of my bike which I have been putting of for months. However, it turns out I am horrible at handy bike works and totally failed to get any air to my now even flatter tires. It seems I have to continue walking everywhere.
What's more, I constantly find myself trying to distract my thoughts from the unstable state of the world by crawling deeper into the serene part of my imagination that is filtered thourgh a pleasant rose colored light. This is both a wonderful talent but also dangerous as it can make you very distant and detached from the real events of the world. But because, it seems I do it marvelously well, I am going to share with you a part of the fun through some makeup looks I did on a one very confusing and springlike Friday in March.
HERE ARE FOUR SPRING MAKEUP LOOKS TO REMIND YOU OF THE FACT THAT THERE'S STILL CHEERFULNESS IN THIS WORLD:
ROSY GLOW
One of my all time favorite spring makeup looks is the blush overload style. I love it because it gives you a certain freshness, glow and long craved of pop of color after darker and heavier tones of winter. I wore the rosy blush on my cheeks and eye lids with natural base and with no mascara to applify the freshness and easy going vibe of a skin that is a little flushed from the new born sunlight. Then, for a final touch I added a light pink lipstick to tie together all of the tender rosy tones.

FRESH RED
There's nothing like a delicious, matte red lip in spring time. Red just lifts up the mood, brightens up a tired face like no other and gives a boost of confidence in the mornings. Besides, it also happens to be a perfect lip option with the previous rosy cheek -look as well as, a favorite lip color of the s/s 2020 runways. In short, there's absolutely no excuse not to wear red. So, forget the nude lipsticks for awhile and let lose the vibrant shades of red. It's time to be bold!

CRISPY GLITTER
Unperfect, crispy glitter has become my new "cool girl" makeup look that shimmers in the lights. It's game changing carefree attitude makes sure anybody can create stardust eyes with zero makeup knowledge and a minimal budget. Quite litterally, all you need is a high shine eyeshadow and a finger to smudge it in. Basicly, the less you know about blending the better just makes sure it look messy, cool and lived in. Lastly, just throw on your everyday lipstick and some mascara and the look is complited.

PORCELAIN DOLL
Usually, I wear a classic wing eyeliner but today I wanted to create something different and whimsical. Therefore, I turned the wing downward insted of up, which gave the eyes a fun and doll-like appeal. As a whole, the beauty of this look is in the simplicity of shape that allows you to experiment with something new while not complitely abandoning the usual black liner style. To finish of the makeup I added my everyday lip and go-to powder to mimic that soft porcelain doll skin.
